Presentations (Orals) Coaching

Presenting effectively is key to winning contract bids, connecting with and informing staff, conducting critical design reviews and moderating critical stockholders meetings and question/answer sessions to achieve the best results possible. Although coaching sessions are customized to the needs of the participants, skills generally covered include:

  • When to read and when not to
  • Minimizing nervousness and fear

Although presentations and presenters should be as smooth and eloquent as possible,and coaching covers the fine points of presenting, the key issue is establishing rapport and and delivering the right message. What does the audience in that briefing room need to know? What does the information presented mean to the people receiving that information? Why does it matter to them?
